Customer with Multiple Accounts
Thanks for your speedy responses Matt. Much appreciate it.
None of the green button data samples include customers who have multiple accounts/meters. Does protocol allow for a scenario when a Single customer uses multiple accounts? Good example would be a small college with multiple meters on site.

Yes, it does. The key source for Green Button data is "usage point", which is roughly equivalent to a single meter, and each usage point has its own UUID. The usage point/account relationship is shown in the URI for that usage point, but I expect it will be easier to just track the account based on who is using the app.
Let me know if you'd like for information on this, or if I'm answering the wrong question.
Thanks!

So, if I am a customer with two meters, does click of the Green button ONCE give me data for both meters on a daily basis? OR, I would have to click twice separately to download?

Ha, I knew this would be the next question. I'm checking into this, but I think that a customer with two meters will have both usage points in a single file.

I confirmed that a customer with two meters will have a single Green Button file that contains two usage points with their own intervals, not multiple files.
Thanks!

Thanks so much Matt. Any way we can get a sample file reflecting multiple accounts for a single customer? Not critical - but would be nice to have.

Hi Matthew: So - there is no sample file with multiple accounts?
Typically, there appear to be 4 sets of tags for each account, with last set containing interval data. I need a confirmation on the protocol that all four sets repeat for each account. - Thanks have a great weekend.

The word "entry" got left out after the "tag" in my question..

No, I haven't been able to get a sample file for multiple usagepoints for a single customer. However, you're correct that the file would be structured with repeated sets of tags in order for each usage point. The only set that wouldn't be repeated is the first, which is used for the feed itself and would wrap all the usage points.
As always, I've contacted NIST to confirm, and I'll post here if they tell me something different.
